Indigenous Healing Program

Program Mission:

To support Indigenous women, youth and children holistically through; education (mind), healing circles (emotion), self-care kits (physical) and one-to-one support (spiritual). Promoting balance in our everyday life, so we can live life to its fullest potential, in harmony.

The program will address three issues that affect our Indigenous community:

Youth Sexual Exploitation and Human Trafficking
Offering knowledge and resources towards intervention and prevention

Violence Against Indigenous Women
Supporting Indigenous women, youth and children in regaining cultural identity, traditional teachings and enhancing self-worth.

Harm Reduction
Improving the health and well-being of Indigenous people by sharing of knowledge in the basics of self-care, the importance of self-care and coping strategies.
